MPI Chemical Dependency Treatment Services
MPI Chemical Dependency Treatment Services is the oldest hospital-based program for alcoholism and drug abuse treatment in the San Francisco Bay Area. MPI has served more than 17,000 patients and their families since its founding as the Peralta Alcoholism Facility in 1979.
MPI offers:
- Physician-supervised detoxification
- Inpatient rehabilitation
- Residential rehabilitation
- Day treatment program
- Morning and evening outpatient programs
Counseling and educational services are provided by the MPI team of chemical dependency professionals. They include licensed marriage and family therapists, masters degree–level therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, MPI’s medical director (board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine), registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants.
