Post Stroke/Brain Injury Intensive Rehab
Caring, Comprehensive & Intensive Rehabilitation
Post-Stroke/Brain Injury Intensive Rehab most effectively treats individuals who have had a stroke or a brain injury, and who are able to tolerate two hours of therapy a day, for up to four days in a given week.
Our goals are to:
- Increase independence in daily living skills
- Improve balance and walking skills
- Improve use of the arms and hands in daily life
- Return to roles at home, in the work place and community
- Modify and upgrade home exercise programs
Home Program
As an adjunct to rehabilitation services, we will come to your home to assist you in setting up your surroundings to more easily incorporate your whole body. We will also develop your home exercise program in the home environment and practice it with you and your caregiver. Special rates are available for the Home Program.
About Our Staff and Therapists
Each staff member has many years of experience specifically treating patients with stroke and brain injuries. Each therapist has participated in multiple advanced courses with an emphasis on helping patients improve the quality of their walking and arm function.
In addition, three of the current staff are certified Neuro-IFRAH Instructors teaching classes to physical and occupational therapists in the treatment of patients with stroke and brain injury.
Appointments and Fees
A physician prescription for evaluation and treatment is required prior to scheduling your first appointment. Insurance companies do not cover the cost of outpatient intensive programs.
